It didn't end the way everyone of a Heart of Midlothian persuasion would have wanted, but it was a fantastic 2025/26 campaign.
After the disappointment of the previous season, no one could have seen coming a second-place finish, a record points total and taking the title race to the dying moments. Other than Tony Bloom, maybe.
