Derek McInnes is hoping to have Beni Baningime and Harry Milne available for selection when Heart of Midlothian take on Dundee this weekend.
The Hearts head coach revealed neither had been part of full training this week, but were set to work with the physio on Thursday morning.
Baningime has been limited to just a late substitute appearance in one of the last three matches due to a knee issue. He was given an injection this week to help with bruising.
As for Milne, the left-back was replaced in the second half of the Kilmarnock game with calf trouble. It is hoped he will train on Friday ahead of Saturday's fixture.
Oisin McEntee has trained as normal after feeling his shoulder on Saturday in the loss to Kilmarnock.
“Beni got an injection Monday, so he's doing some work with the physios today. He's not back full training today, but he is with the intention of training tomorrow," McInnes said.
"He had a positive scan last week, that's why we're disappointed. he never made the game. He was still feeling bone bruising, which is sore. He was a bit uncertain about it, but he has had an injection now and I think that's helped matters.
“All being well, he'll train tomorrow to be available for the weekend.
“Harry is another one who hasn't trained this week yet because of a calf injury he's got. He came off against Kilmarnock with it. The feeling is that he could be okay.
“He's going out and doing some work with the physios and Beni today.
“I hope he trains fully tomorrow and he'll be available."
Meanwhile, Hearts will be without Tomas Magnusson after the midfielder broke his cheekbone in the first half at Kilmarnock.
He was taken to the hospital after the clash of heads with Aaron Tshibola.

It is hoped that it is "a one-game hit", according to McInnes, and that following another assessment next week, he should be able to return against Livingston after the international break with a mask.
“Hopefully that's what it's going to be with the best-case scenario. Saturday night, it was confirmed that he'd broken his cheekbone," the Hearts head coach said.
“He then saw the specialist Monday night. Where the fracture is in the cheekbone and the level it is, as long as it hasn't deteriorated between now and Monday.
“When he sees the specialist again, then the specialist is confident that with a mask and with Tomas feeling confident about it, he could continue to be available for us when he comes back for the Livingston game."
