No Heart of Midlothian player has been called up to the Scotland squad for the friendlies against Japan and Ivory Coast.
Steve Clarke is using these games as preparation for this summer's World Cup ahead of also taking on Curucao in May before heading off to North America.
Scotland first face Japan on Saturday, March 28, and Ivory Coast three days later.
With the World Cup looming, Hearts players such as Craig Halkett and Harry Milne would have hoped to get the chance to work their way into the manager's plans, after their incredible seasons in helping the club to the top of the Scottish Premiership.
However, neither has made it this time and miss out alongside clubmates such as Stuart Findlay, who is out injured, and Marc Leonard, who had been touted for a midfield slot.
Craig Gordon and Lawrence Shankland have both had recent involvement and would have been in with a shout had they been fit. The latter has just returned to full training and is in contention for Hearts' home game against Dundee on Saturday.
Preferred ahead of Halkett are centre-backs Grant Hanley, John Souttar, Jack Hendry, Scott McKenna and Dominic Hyam.
The left-backs in instead of Milne are, understandably, Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney.
Former Hearts midfielder Andy Irving has been preferred to Leonard as he joins the likes of Billy Gilmour, Lewis Ferguson, Lennon Miller, Kenny McLean and Ryan Christie as the deeper midfield options.
If fit by the time the next squad announcement comes round, Gordon would have to get in ahead of Angus Gunn, Scott Bain and Liam Kelly.
While Shankland would need to oust one of Che Adams, Lyndon Dykes, George Hirst or Tommy Conway.
