Heart of Midlothian completed their January transfer business 30 minutes prior to the 11pm deadline on Monday night with the departure of Malachi Boateng.
It has been a busy month for the Jam Tarts after entering the new year bottom of the Scottish Premiership. They now sit seventh and have been boosted by their new recruits.
Five players have arrived with two already hitting the ground running for Neil Critchley.
Belgian striker Elton Kabangu and centre-back Jamie McCart signed in the first few days of the window and have made a positive impact as the team's form has turned around.
Another centre-back in Michael Steinwender and versatile midfielder Sander Kartum would be added later in the window, the former making his debut in the weekend's 6-0 win over Dundee.
Harry Milne's arrival from Partick Thistle completed the ins for the month with the 28-year-old providing both depth and competition at left-back.
A number of players have left this window. The most notable names were Kye Rowles and Liam Boyce who, between them, made 227 appearances for the club. Hearts brought in six figures for the Australian centre-back who moved to DC United.
Another six-figure fee was brought in for Daniel Oyegoke. The versatile defender may well be the most surprising exit in terms of destination, swapping Gorgie and the Scottish Premiership for Verona and Serie A. He was an unused sub for Hellas Verona in their 1-0 win over Monza following his transfer.
Boateng was another surprise exit, joining Plymouth Argyle in a deal that saw the club six figures. It means he now links up with Miron Muslic, the man who was in charge of Cercle Brugge when they defeated Hearts in the league phase of the Conference League.
Andres Salazar returned to his parent club, Colombian giants Atletico Nacional, and scored the side's only goal when they defeated La Equidad on Sunday.
Macaulay Tait has moved to Livingston on loan and started the last two games for the Lions as he gets regular first-team minutes higher up the pyramid.
The same goes for Callum Sandilands, who was on the fringes of the first-team squad. He has been playing regularly for Montrose. It is hoped Ethan Drysdale gets similar exposure at Thistle on loan as part of the Milne deal.

Hearts fans should regard this window as just the start of the Jamestown Analytics era. There is expected to be more movement in the summer with players departing and more arriving as the club's expectation and ambition evolves.
The club are still able to agree pre-contracts with players who are in the final six months of their contracts and there has been interest in Danny Armstrong from Kilmarnock who is one of those players.
As for players in the final six months of their contract at Hearts, Barrie McKay is expected to depart in the summer. Jorge Grant, Lawrence Shankland and Craig Gordon are other first-team stars who will see their deals expire. A decision will have to be made on Gerald Taylor, on loan from Deportivo Saprissa, in that time.
